All of the PVCu products supplied through Window Service Centre are guaranteed for a defined period of 10 years from the date of installation. This guarantee covers the frames. The sealed units and PVCu panels are guaranteed for 5 years. Fittings carry the manufacturers warranty of 12 months.
This guarantee remains with the installed frames on a property should it be sold, provided these details are given in writing to us and PROVIDED that the windows have been properly maintained and serviced by the previous householder, or current householder.
Aluminium products supplied through Window Service Centre do not have a guarantee. However, for each individual contract, due to the corrosive climate of Guernsey and the close proximity of most local properties to the sea, we always specify that a marine paint specification is always required and any guarantee’s that may be provided by our supplier, then the customer would be advised in writing at the time of supply/installation.
This guarantee is dependent on the householder keeping a full record of the maintenance undertaken and frequency in which it is applied, throughout the warranty period given.
